Co-creating a Novel Adaptive Cycling Intervention
for Children with Cerebral Palsy
for Children with Cerebral Palsy
|
Why is this research important?
Exercise activities for youth with neuromotor conditions, such as cerebral palsy, often do not address the needs of the entire clinical population. By collaborating with patients, their families, and healthcare providers, this project aims to co-develop a child-centred indoor cycling application to promote exercise in children with a wide range of disabilities due to cerebral palsy. What does this study involve? A 30 to 60-minute interview, in-person, over the phone, or online to help researchers better understand the perspectives of healthcare providers in regard to working with and implementing adaptive exercise technology for paediatric patients living with neuromotor conditions affecting movement, such as cerebral palsy. |
