Robot Interaction Effects on Children Experiencing

 a Stressful Situation
In this project, we set out to better understand how social robots can be used in the hospital to support children and parents in the waiting room.
Why is this research important?

Social robots are interactive agents that can engage in social interactions. This emerging technology has the potential to provide mental health support in healthcare settings.

The goal of this study is to explore the attitudes of children and parents towards a social robot and to identify ways in which robots could be used in the hospital waiting room.
